Financial Operations Associate (Foreign Exchange Dealing)

Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Monex is looking for a dynamic Operations Associate to join our Dealing team. The Operations Associate will assist Dealers in executing foreign exchange trades. The Operations Specialist’s goal will be to make the team more efficient to maximize revenue.   


Responsibilities:
  • Add new accounts including relevant documentation into our CRM system
  • Work with Dealing and clients to ensure on time payments
  • Work with Trading to ensure market orders are filled quickly and accurately
  • Field Operations investigations and liaise with Dealing and clients to rectify delays
  • Field Compliance requests and coordinate with Dealing and clients in a timely fashion
  • Add both standard and high-risk beneficiaries into our CRM system
  • Generate various monthly reports per client requests
  • Set up web users and approvals for clients on Monex Online
  • Stay ahead of upcoming forward deals and ensure they are drawn and paid for or rolled out to a new forward
  • Record all communication on CRM system ensuring details are accurate and up to date
  • Attend and contribute to daily meetings with the Dealing team

Required Qualifications:
  • A BA/BS degree
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, full command of English language
  • A positive attitude, strong drive to succeed, determination and persistence
  • High ethical business standards
  • Strong sense of customer service with a sense of urgency
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
 
Qualifications:
  • A BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Proven customer service track record
  • Fluency in other languages, especially Spanish, is desirable

Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.  The annual salary range is $60,000 to $70,000 plus a 10% annual discretionary bonus.
